Snow Australia Children's Championships 2025 continues to serve as an important platform for all junior skiers!
Competing in Alpine and Skier-cross, this event (and a hand-full of others like it) have proved to be the testing ground where nearly ALL of Australia's National team honed their skills and/or added their first gold, silver or bronze to the trophy cabinet.

- Skier Cross - Cross Track, Road Runner
Sunday 30th of August
- Slalom - Sundowner, Village
Monday 1st of September
- Giant Slalom - Cornice Pitch into Snake Gully, Heavenly Valley

Age divisions; Please note that the years listed in the registration form are incorrect. Please refere to the years listed below:
- U14 (Born 2013-2012)
- U16 (Born 2011-2010)
Entries & Payment:
Entry fee is $88.00 per race day (there is no entry fee for the Skills Challenge, but you still must register). Registration closes Monday 25th August 4.30pm. No entries will be accepted after this time.
Membership/Insurance
A Snow Australia SnowID / Snow Australia Alpine Club Racer required.
All competitors registering must be a 2025 registered member with Snow Australia in the Alpine Club Racer category. Snow Australia registration includes insurance cover. All competitors must be a program member of a recognised Snow Australia Alpine Pathway Program Provider Alpine Pathway Programs.

Proposed program - locations and formats will be confirmed the week prior to competition.
Bibs: Are to be returned at the conclusion of each race day.
Lost bibs are subject to a $52.00 charge. All club representatives and individual representatives will provide a credit card number at the first Captains Meeting to cover this cost, if needed.
Competitor Lift Tickets: Will be available for purchase through the Hotham Shop, a link will be provided to competitor once they have registered for the event. Competitor Lift Tickets are not available on the day or over the counter at Hotham. Please ensure if you do not have a mountain access card to purchase one. No discounted lift ticket will be available for parents/guardians.
Coach Lift Tickets: Snow Australia Alpine Pathway Provider Program Directors must send a list of their attending coaches by Friday the 22nd August to Rohan Knox, Hotham Race & Events Manager, events@vailresorts.com.au, in order to obtain coach’s tickets the following information will need to be provided; Name, Date of birth, Email and Phone Number. Once approved instructions will be sent as to how to claim these tickets.
Waivers: All competitors must agree to the waiver and release online during registration.
Helmet: Helmet use is mandatory for all participants and volunteers during all race events.
Volunteers: Will need to sign the event waiver which can be done through the following link:
Team Captains Meeting: Will be held on the Thursday the 26th of August, at 5pm at [location TBC]. All competitors are to be represented at this meeting. Subsequent meeting times to be decided.
