UQAC and UQ Sport Athletics Track Host "Last Chance Meet" [Prize Money on Offer - Selected Events]
The UQ Athletics Club and UQ Sport are pleased to announce they will host their "Last Chance Meet" at the UQ Sport Athletics Centre on April 1st, 2026. This will be the last chance for athletes to have a hit out before the Club or UNI Nationals
It is anticipated the Meet will cater for athletes from Under 14 years to Open age groups.
All athletes competing must be registered with Queensland Athletics for insurance purposes. Athletes who wish to compete and are not registered with Queensland Athletics, should first register, at least as a Base Member for $12. at the following link - - https://qldathletics.org.au/um-groups/direct-no-club-base-membership/. They are then able to lodge an entry. The Meet holds an Australian Athletics Domestic Permit.
WHO CAN ENTER:
The Meets are open to anyone 12 years and over (Born 2014 or earlier). To be eligible to compete athletes must have turned 12 years by the 31st December, 2026
HOW TO ENTER:
Entries will be submitted online. Entries will close at 9:00 am on March 31st.
Athletes must be registered with Qld Athletics, at least as a base member, to be eligible to compete.
Entries will not be accepted after online entries close
WHERE IS THE MEET CONDUCTED:
The meet is conducted at the UQ Athletic Centre on Sir William MacGregor Drive, St Lucia.
ENTRY FEES:
The fee to compete is $27 with no limit on the number of events an athlete may enter

PRIZE MONEY
Prize money will be awarded to the top three performances for both Men and Women in the 200 metres, 1500 metres, Javelin (throwing open weight implements) and long Jump in the following breakdown - 1st $125, 2nd $75 and 3rd $50.
