Junior & Senior Competition

Location: Eastern Suburbs PCYC , 26A Bunnerong Rd. Daceyville

Junior Competition - 7 years and up

1. Juniors Weigh-in at home and enter exact weight on online entry form.
2. Players will be grouped in weight groups of 0-5kg as close as possible

(eg: 30-35kg) dependant on number of entries.

3. Competitors will compete in age and weight
4. This competition is constructed as a learning experience for the children and parents of UNSW Judo Club.

Age in 2020                        Grade

7-8yrs                      Yellow Orange and above    2 minute bouts

9-10yrs                    Orange and above                 2 minute bouts

11-12yrs                 Green and above                   3 minute bouts

13y-14yrs               Green Blue and above         3 minute bouts

Awards will be given for 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd place, Best Throw, Best Fighting Spirit

Competition will start at 9.00am

7-8yrs          9.00 am

9-10yrs        10.00 am     approximate start time

11-12yrs      11.00 am     approximate start time

13-14yrs      12.00 noon approximate start time

Senior Competition - 15 years and up  

(entries close Wed 4^th Nov)

Competition will start at 1.30pm

A.Orange & Green belt category

B. Blue & Brown belt category

1. Weigh-ins at home and enter exact weight on online entry form.
2. Category will be divided into closest Weight and Grade categories dependant on entries.
3. Duration of bouts will be - 4 minutes
4. There will be two 6m x 6m mat areas available on the day.
5. Points gained will be counted towards Grade eligibility.
