New President's Welcome

Welcome to the new season! I am honored to step in as your new president for the upcoming year and can't wait to get started. As my first order of business, I want to acknowledge the incredible leadership we’ve had recently. The committee thanks Wayne Jenkins for four years of outstanding service as our President; his hard work and ever-positive attitude have been an inspiration and truly shaped our club for the better. Wayne's stepping down leaves big shoes to fill!

For those that don't know me yet, I've been a member of UJHC since my daughters started H2H in 2021 and most recently I coached our U12 girls (to a Premiership no less!). I'm passionate about seeing our club develop young athletes with a love of a sport they can play for decades. I look forward to meeting you throughout the season!

Indoor Hockey - Season resumption

The Indoor Hockey season summer break concludes this week, with most teams back in action from February 1st!

It is critical that all returning players Re-Register for the 2026 calendar year. Follow this link to sign up and pay your Hockey Australia levy that includes compulsory insurance: https://www.revolutionise.com.au/unijuniors/registration

Outdoor season registration has not opened up yet.

Bunnings BBQ

We are hosting our first fundraising event of the year on February 7th at Bunnings Belconnen.

Senior club grading days

Our senior clubs ANU and UC both have grading day sessions coming up for those who are considering or preparing for the step into senior hockey. Feel free to reach out to existing coaches or myself (President.UJHC@gmail.com) if you have any queries or concerns about how to approach this transition.
