Did you miss out on the sneaky weekend getaway to Nelson’s Bay back in May?

Well, have no fear, we’re going again!!!! The Didj won’t be coming this time, but luckily the shore diving is just as good!

|| WHATS HAPPENING ||

A weekend of shore diving looking for fun ocean critters like nudibranchs, seahorses, pipefish, octopus, cuttlefish wobbegongs, pineapple fish, moray eels, sponges and gropers.

There is a plethora of dive sites suitable for all levels. The water will be cold, so be prepared to layer up and pee in your wetsuit. 

As always, there will be a themed party night on Saturday night - theme TBA. 

|| WHERE ||

Nelson’s Bay, approximately 3 hours north of Sydney.

|| WHEN ||

Arrive: Friday 19th July
Depart: Sunday 21st July

|| COST ||

$125

Includes two nights accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. Drinks for the party night will also be included (beer, wine and some cheeky punch). If you have a particularly mature pallet then please feel free to BYO.

As we will be arriving at different times on Friday night, you will need to organise dinner and any drinks you may want.

|| DIVING ||

There will be two club dives at slack tide on Saturday. Sunday dives will depend on a smooth and timely checkout in the morning and your hangover. 

All the dives will be free over the weekend as we are shore diving. Tank fills are not included in the trip cost. We will be getting tank fills from the local dive shop and you will be required to pay for your respective fills at the end of the weekend. This shouldn’t be more than $10 per tank.

|| GEAR ||

You are responsible for organising your own gear for the weekend.
BCDs, tanks, regulators, wetsuits, masks, fins and weights are all available to hire from the club through our gear hire portal.

|| GETTING THERE ||

You are responsible for getting yourself to Nelson Bay and the dive sites. We will do our best to arrange carpooling for those who don’t have access to a vehicle.

|| BOOKING ||

Registrations will open at 9:00 am on 8 July 2019.

The waitlist will open at 9:10 am.
