Hi divers,

Keen to dive one of the best wrecks on the east coast?

We're hosting a weekend trip to Terrigal to dive to the HMAS Adelaide in mid-Sept. (Friday Sept. 14th - Sunday 16th). Unfortunately the Adelaide is a deep wreck dive, and so only divers who hold their advanced certification and a minimum of 30 logged dives will be able to attend the trip. You will have to bring a torch and a safety sausage!

The Ex HMAS Adelaide is the most recent wreck dive in Australia. It was sunk in April 2011 to create an artificial reef and a wreck diving site. The HMAS Adelaide was a 138 meter long Escorte Frigate of the Australian Navy. Everything has been made to make the wreck the most interesting to dive with most of the original items of the ship left in place. Holes have also been created to allow easy access to divers and making penetration of the wreck safe.

While alcohol will be provided, also feel free to bring your own, as we can't really cater to specific tastes.

$125 for accommodation, food each day and drinks for the PARTY NIGHT. (Dinner isn't included on Friday night, but every other meal is)

$25 per boat dive

Air fills at local dive shops, $12 max

|| GEAR ||

You are responsible for organizing your own gear. BCDs, tanks, regulators, wetsuits, masks, fins and weights are all available to hire from the club through our gear hire portal. (https://www.revolutionise.com.au/underwaterclub/gear-hire-portal/)
