What do you get when you combine a Sydney Harbour Boat Dive, a Night Dive, and a Wreck Dive?? You get one hell of an awesome dive that’s what.

 

The TSS CURRAJONG!

 

That’s right folks, we are venturing back to dive one of the least visited, most intact wrecks in NSW. At night! The TSS Currajong, a nearly 70 meter long ship that has been sitting at the bottom of Sydney Harbour for over 100 years. This collier ship sits at a max depth of 27 meters and lays under one of Sydney’s busiest ferry paths (which is why we are diving this monster at 1am)!

Night of Friday, June 22nd

 

We will be departing the boat ramp at 1AM (Jun 23rd) so please be geared up and ready to go at 12:45am.

Sydney Harbour (departing Rose Bay boat ramp).

 

 

|| Cost ||

$25 per boat dive

 

 

|| Diving ||
Due to depth and complexity of this dive, there are experience restrictions outlined below. Each diver will need to be competent in their skills and ability to successfully dive this site.

 

Minimum Experience Required:

- Must have Advanced Open Water or equivalent certification

- Must have logged over 30 dives

- Must have logged over 3 night dives

 

 

|| Gear ||
Required in addition to your standard gear:

- Dive torch

- SMB

Also recommended:

- Compass

- Whistle

 

IMPORTANT: You are responsible for sorting out your own gear.

Bookings will open 6pm Thursday 14th June.

 

 

|| GETTING THERE ||
We will be launching from the boat ramp Rose Bay. There is parking available at the wharf. Prior to dive we will look to organize car-pooling if required and work out any additional logistics.
