EAT, SLEEP, DIVE, REPEAT! 

We are heading back out to the Great Barrier Reef for a whole week of diving in the form of a liveaboard. We will be spending the week with Cap'n Dave on his boat the MV Kalinda. Dave has been navigating these waters forever and knows (and will take us to) all the best secret dive spots. You can check out a few details here: http://www.kalinda.com.au/

8th – 15th July 2018

• Depart Townsville on the afternoon of July 8th  
• Arrive back in Townsville on the morning of July 15th

|| WHAT ||

• 7 Nights onboard MV Kalinda
• 20ish dives inc. 2 x SS Yongala (weather dependent) and night dives
• Food
• Tanks and Weights
• Tank fills
• A UWC party night (food and booze included) 

|| COST ||
$1,300 (excl. flights)
Budget $300-$500 for flights 

|| BOOKINGS ||

• To secure your place on the trip you will need to pay a non-refundable $300 deposit with the balance ($1000) due by 10th June 2018. 
• If you miss out on a spot, add your name to the Kalinda Waitlist event (https://www.revolutionise.com.au/underwaterclub/events/18548/), in case of cancellations. This waitlist will be available for RSVPs 5 minutes after the main event (25/4/18 at 4.05pm) 

|| FLIGHTS ||

• Fly to Townsville (you can get direct flights from Sydney) on Sunday July 8th
• We will meet at Reef HQ Wharf (accessible via airport shuttle)
• More information will be sent regarding flights so don't book them just yet! 

|| GEAR ||

You are responsible for organising your own gear. BCDs, regulators, dive computers, wetsuits, masks and fins are all available to hire from the club through our gear hire portal*(https://www.revolutionise.com.au/underwaterclub/gear-hire-)

*Please note there is limited availability on all gear hire
For this trip, you will need:

• BCD
• Regs (with dive computer if you don't already have one)
• Fins, booties, Mask

The MV Kalinda will supply tanks and weights for us, so please don't try lug these with you to Townsville. 

|| DIVING QUALIFICATIONS ||

All levels of divers welcome but please note that If you are an open water diver or have little experience you may not be able to dive on certain sites (such as the SS Yongala).
