The RPAYC Kay Cottee Womens Development Regatta is for female sailors who would like to build their racing knowledge and skills onboard the RPAYC Elliott 7 Keelboats. This is suitable for participants with existing sailing experience through RPAYC's Adult Learn to Sail program or similar at other clubs. You don't need to be an experienced racer, it is an introduction to racing with prizes for most improved rather than 1st, 2nd and 3rd. The format will involve on shore briefing about the day, a morning session to work with your instructor and crew on boat handling and tactics and then an afternoon session with short format races. (nothing too serious)  You are welcome to enter as a team (each pay your own entry fee) or we can find you a team to join.

This Kay Cottee Womens Development Regatta will be conducted on Sunday 29 June 2025, led by the RPAYC Keelboat Coaching team, with assistance from experienced female sailors from within RPAYC. 

Please note - this is not an introductory sailing course. Participants should have prior sailing ability to participate in this training via the RPAYC Adult Learn to Sail program or similar. Visit our Adult Learn to Sail page for information about learning to sail on Keelboats!

There are two registration fee categories available for this Course:

• $100.00^ - RPAYC Members
• $125.00 - Non-Members

^To be eligible for the 'Member Discounted Fee', the participating 'Member' is required to be financial for the current membership year (through until 30th April).
