The RPAYC Discover Sailing Centre and Training Academy is pleased to welcome 'Expressions of Interest' for our 2025 Intermediate Youth Development (IYD) Squad Program.

The RPAYC Intermediate Youth Development (IYD) Squad Program is open to RPAYC Youth Members, (new Members are welcome) aged between 13 and 18, who can demonstrate existing dinghy or keelboat sailing skills and experience in fleet racing.

This program will include multiple on and off water training sessions, focusing on building core teamwork dynamics and sail trim techniques.

Additionlly, program participants may be offered opportunities to represent the Club at regattas both within Australia and Internationally.

Applications 'must be made' using the applicant's Australian Sailing Number, not the number of a Parent or Gaurdian.

Upon closure of the Expression of Interest period on Friday 14 March 2025, successful applicants will be invited to register for the program.

Program Focus:

The Advanced Fleet Program is designed to enable participants to train to compete.

The coaching is regular, with extended personal commitment, plus commitment to club and class association racing or competition.
