RPAYC Start Crewing Course
The RPAYC Discover Sailing Centre is pleased to welcome participants to our Start Crewing Keelboat Course for May 2024. This course will include four sessions, conducted over the days as listed. All session times are 9:30am - 12:30pm.

Training will be conducted on the Club's fleet of Elliott 7 Keelboats.
The RPAYC Discover Sailing Centre abides by the Australian Sailing Instructor/Student ratios, hence places are strictly limited. All courses are subject to change with limited notice, based on demand and availability. To avoid disappointment, we recommend registering early.
Registration
There are two registration fee categories available for this Course:
- $550.00* - RPAYC Members
- $600.00 - Non Members
| *To be eligible for the 'Member Discounted Fee', the participating 'Member' is required to be financial for the current Membership Season (through until 30th April). |
The fee for this course includes the digital version of the Australian Sailing Introductory Keelboat Text Book and a printed copy of the Australian Sailing Introductory Keelboat Text Book and Log Book in a waterproof satchel, with a length of rope for you to practice your knots! 
Course Overview
This course introduces participants to the basics of sailing on keelboats, including boat handling, safety and sailing theory.
Course Prerequisites
Water confident.
Who should do this course?
This course is designed for participants who wish to begin sailing in a keelboat. Learn the basics, whilst staying relatively dry! All the equipment and gear will be provided by your accredited Discover Sailing Centre.
Course Outcome
You will gain your Start Crewing completion certificate.
