The RPAYC Discover Sailing Centre is pleased to welcome you to our RPAYC Centreboard Volunteer & Race Management Training. This seminar and practical training is up to 3 hours in length, and the purpose is to introduce and refresh volunteers on Race Management procedures, volunteer roles & requirements, incident management & safety boat duties. 

The training will take place in and around the club and marina. Please bring appropriate gear for training onboard a club powerboat (warm clothing & PFD if you have one).

This seminar will cover the following topics:

• Club Policies and Procedures for Race Management
• Child Safety & Protection
• Responding to incidents and emergencies
• Operation of club safety boats and equipment
• Introduction of key personnel and roles amongst the club
• Volunteer and club administration

Who should attend this course?
Entrants, parents, and volunteers who are active in supporting club Centreboard racing. This briefing is an annual accreditation/refresher for all volunteers to participate in.
