The RPAYC Discover Sailing Centre is pleased to welcome you to our 'Alfreds Community Sailing' - Friday Sailing Days, during each month in 2023-2024. 

Our Friday Sailing Experience Days are an opportunity for veterans, frontline workers and responders and other community groups to be introduced to sailing. These days are held once a month and allow you to do as much or as little as you like on-water, concluding with a great social lunch post-sailing. Sessions will be conducted on the Club's fleet of Elliott 7 Keelboats, as well as the private sailing yachts owned by our Club Members and Volunteers.

Registration
All participants are required to register to be able to participate. Please click on the 'Register' button at the top of the page to begin your registration. There is no registration fee for this program.

To register for all sailing courses and experiences at RPAYC, you will need an Australian Sailing number. This is your unique identifier that recognises you as a member and/or course participant. If you already have an Australian Sailing number, you can look it up here. If you do not have one, then there is an option to begin registration for an Australian Sailing number when registering for a course or Discover Sailing experience for the first time (follow the links via course registration 'SIGN UP').

Volunteers
Please note that Alfred's Community Sailing Volunteers, will no longer 'register' via this platform. Volunteers will now register via the RPAYC Volunteer Management System - click here.

A Discover Sailing Day is for anyone wanting to visit a sailing club and discover sailing for the first time.

Outcome

You will have experienced sailing and have been introduced to your local Sailing Club, who will have provided you with information on what other opportunities, courses and activities are on offer that will enable you to continue your participation in sailing.
