Dear Fellow Members,

The Commodore and Officers of the Transvaal Yacht Club cordially invite you to our annual Commodore's Dinner, an evening of maritime fellowship, tradition, and celebration of our club's distinguished heritage as Africa's oldest inland yacht club.

Since 1924, TYC has been a beacon on the waters of Hartbeespoort Dam, and this gathering continues our proud tradition of bringing together sailors, their families, and friends to honor our shared passion for the open waters, sailing adventures, for the dam and the bonds that unite us.

First Bell: 18:00 for 18:30

Anchorage:
Clube Naval Restaurant

Dress Code:
Formal to Semi-Formal Maritime Attire

• Blazer and Tie (as befits proper yacht club tradition)
• White shirt, Navy Blue Blazer, Grey or Cream trousers
• Club burgee proudly displayed (if available)
• "Dressed overall for a special occasion"

⛵ GALLEY PROVISIONS

Our galley will offer three carefully charted courses to suit all tastes:

🐟 "Catch of the Day" - Fresh seafood selections
🥩 "Hearty Provisions" - Prime meat offerings
🥬 "Garden Harbor" - Vegetarian delights

Each member sails on their own account - menu selections will be settled individually on the evening.
