Expressions of Interest Now Open – 2026 Softball Queensland Future Stars Carnival
Townsville Softball Association is excited to be seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from players in the U12 and U14 age groups who would like to represent Townsville at the 2026 Softball Queensland Future Stars Carnival.
This year's carnival will be held in Mackay, providing a fantastic opportunity for our young players to experience representative softball, develop their skills and compete against associations from across Queensland.
At Townsville Softball, we're passionate about creating more opportunities for our junior players, and we'd love to send one, two or even three teams to this year's carnival!
Who Can Nominate?
EOIs are open to all eligible U12 and U14 players who are interested and available to attend the carnival.
There are no team nomination fees, meaning families will only need to cover:
- Travel
- Accommodation
- Personal expenses
We're Also Looking for Volunteers!
To make this opportunity possible, we're also seeking expressions of interest from parents and supporters who would like to assist as:
- 🥎 Coaches
- 📖 Scorers
- 🙋 Team Managers
- 👕 Umpires
No formal qualifications are required. If you have a current Blue Card and are willing to help, we'd love to hear from you. Whether you're an experienced volunteer or looking to get involved for the first time, your support will help make this carnival a success.
How to Nominate
If your player is interested, or you'd like to volunteer, simply email Townsville Softball Association to register your Expression of Interest.
📅 EOIs close Sunday, 16 August 2026.
Closing nominations early will allow us plenty of time to:
- Confirm team nominations with Softball Queensland.
- Organise coaches and team officials.
- Give families plenty of time to arrange travel and accommodation.
