2026/2027 Townsville Softball Season is Here!

The countdown is on! The 2026/2027 Townsville Softball season is just around the corner, and we're excited to welcome both returning and new players back to the diamond for another fantastic year of softball.

Whether you're looking to play for the first time, returning after a break, or continuing your softball journey, there's a place for everyone at Townsville Softball.

Pre-Season (All Age Groups)

Sunday 6 September 2026
Sunday 13 September 2026

Our pre-season is designed to welcome players of all ages and experience levels. There are no team fixtures during these two weeks—simply come along, meet new people, enjoy a game and experience softball in a relaxed and friendly environment.

New players can take advantage of our $5 Come & Try option before committing to the full season.

Regular Season

Sunday 20 September 2026 – Sunday 6 December 2026

🎄 Christmas & New Year Break

Season resumes:
Sunday 17 January 2027

🏆 Grand Finals
Sunday 14 February 2027

🎉 Junior & Senior Presentation Day
Saturday 20 February 2027

All games are played on Sundays at Bicentennial Park, Hermit Park.

🆕 Introducing B Grade Women's Softball

We're excited to launch a B Grade Women's Competition for the 2026/2027 season!

This new division has been created to provide another pathway into softball and is perfect for:

• New players.
• Mums wanting to get back into sport.
• Players returning after time away from the game.
• Anyone looking for a fun, social and supportive fastpitch competition.

Our A Grade Women's competition will continue for players looking to compete at a higher level.

Registrations Are Open!

Players can register across all age groups:

Play On! Sports Vouchers are accepted.

Your local club will provide you with the correct team code when registering.
