The 2026/2027 Townsville Softball season is almost here and registrations are now open!
Whether you're returning for another season, coming back to softball after some time away, or picking up a bat and glove for the very first time, we'd love to see you at the diamonds this season.

💙 B Grade Women – perfect for new players, returning players, those who haven't played for a long time or anyone looking for the more social and fun side of competitive fastpitch softball.
💛 A Grade Women – for players looking to play fastpitch softball at a higher competitive level.

👧 JUNIOR AGE GROUPS
Age groups are based on the age the player is turning in 2027:
🥎 T-Ball – ages 3–9
🥎 U13 – ages 10–13
🥎 U17 – ages 14–17
Players may be able to play up into an older age group where it is considered safe and appropriate for them to compete. Players must still register in their applicable age group and use the relevant team code when registering to play in an additional/older division.
⭐ PRE-SEASON – COME & TRY!
Our two weeks of Pre-Season Games are a great opportunity for anyone who has been thinking about giving softball a go.
New players can use our Come & Try option for just $5 to experience softball before committing to the full season.
All players must be registered before taking the field during Pre-Season. If using the Come & Try option, your registration must be completed prior to playing.
There will be no team fixtures, scoring or umpiring duties during Pre-Season. Simply come along at your division's allocated time, meet some new people and enjoy a game of softball!

Play On! Sports Vouchers are accepted.
If you have a Play On! voucher, please do not complete your normal registration first.
Email Townsville Softball directly and attach a copy of your voucher. We will then provide you with the appropriate registration link to register using your voucher.

👥 REGISTERING WITH A TEAM
If you already know which team you are playing with, make sure you have your team code before registering.
Your team code needs to be entered during registration so we know which team to allocate you to.

💙💛 NEW PLAYERS WELCOME!
You don't need years of softball experience to join us.
We welcome complete beginners, returning players, families, juniors and experienced players across our competitions.
Our new B Grade Women's competition is also a fantastic opportunity for mums, aunties, friends and family members who have watched from the sidelines and thought about having a go themselves.
Bring a friend, bring the family and come be part of the Townsville Softball community.
