Location: Kennedy Street, North Ward

Day: SUNDAY!

Date: 7 June 2026

Time: 6.30 am for a 7AM start!

Distance: 4.2km short course and 7.5km long course

Cost: $10 pp

Register online by 8pm on Saturday 6 June. (Registrations will be accepted on the day but for administration purposes, online registration is preferred).

See you on Sunday for a 7.00 am start!

 

Long Course — 7.4 km
Start / Finish: Queens Park, Kennedy Street, North Ward

The course starts at Queens Park, Kennedy Street and follows the road to turn right into Warburton Street, right into Gregory Street, left into Clifton Street, right into Queen Street, then left into Murray Street. Turn right into Victoria Street and continue into Stanton Terrace and Hillside Crescent. Access the Goat Track and continue on the Goat Track to the top of Castle Hill. Do a loop around the carpark and follow the road down to turn left into Gregory Street. Turn left into Alexandra Street, right into Stuart Street, right into Paxton Street and just before Queens Gardens turn left onto the dirt track to finish near the car park on Kennedy Street.

King of the Castle Long Course — Full Map

 

Short Course — 4.2 km
Start / Finish: Queens Park, Kennedy Street, North Ward

The course starts at Queens Park, Kennedy Street and follows the road to turn right into Warburton Street, right into Gregory Street, left into Clifton Street, right into Queen Street, then left into Murray Street. Turn right into Victoria Street and continue into Stanton Terrace and Hillside Crescent to the end of the bitumen road and turn and retrace Hillside Crescent and Stanton Terrace to a path down to the continuation of Stanton Terrace. At the end of Stanton Terrace turn right into Gregory Street. Turn left into Alexandra Street, right into Stuart Street, right into Paxton Street and just before Queens Gardens turn left onto the dirt track to finish near the car park on Kennedy Street.
