If your child is in Under 10's but plays up into Under 12's, they are welcome to join as well.

 

Information

The 2026 Technical Development Academy delivers tailored coaching for boys and girls competing in Under 12 and Under 14-16 club and representative hockey.

This program will be delivered across a 5-week training block during Term 2, providing players with consistent, high-quality, age-appropriate training. Sessions are designed to be high-intensity and skill-focused, supporting the development of both field players and goalkeepers.

Field Players

• Passing and receiving
• Dribbling and 3D elimination skills
• Aerials, slaps, tomahawks, and hitting
• Defensive tackling and pressure play

Goalkeepers

• Shot-stopping and reaction saves
• Footwork and movement positioning
• Kicking and clearances
• 1v1 saves and smothering techniques
• Rebound control and recovery

Age Groups

• Under 12 Boys and Girls
• Under 14 - 16 Boys and Girls

Program Duration

• Block 1 (Term 2): Commencing 28th and 30th April 2026

Session Times

• Under 14-16: Tuesdays, 6:30am – 7:30am
• Under 12: Thursdays, 6:30am – 7:30am
