Tiger Wests Little Athletics runs a modified athletics competition for children aged from 4 to 16 years with a focus on “Family, Fun, Friendships & Fitness”. Competitions run every Friday 6:00PM from September to March at the Wyatt Park Athletics Oval in Auburn/Lidcombe (entry via 3 Percy St, next to the netball courts)

2025/26 Registration Fees

Tiny Tots: $140 (includes Uniform)
6s and older: $190 (includes Uniform)
Returning Members from 2024/25: Reduced Fees excludes Uniform

Little Athletics is a family sport and we need the details of the parents/carers who will assist with our program. All parents in attendance each Friday are required to participate in the running of the program. It is quite impossible for the Committee (all volunteers) to fulfil the large number of roles involved, and so most of the tasks involved in supervising athletics competitions fall to parents. When everyone helps out, our kids feel a stronger sense of belonging, and together, we build a nurturing and inclusive athletics centre.

Important Information - New Registration Process for 2025/26

Please read carefully as this year's registration process is a little different to last year's. 

1. Register yourself first as a parent helper (DO NOT CHECKOUT YET)
2. Register your Children
3. Register any other Parent Helpers
4. Checkout

If you have already registered as a Parent Helper, you can go straight to Registering your Children

Detailed Registration Steps

1. Register yourself first as a parent helper (DO NOT CHECKOUT YET) 

   • Choose the "New Member" option and put your details first, then Select "Parent Helper"

   • 

   • Please ensure you answer the questions below about your preferred Parent Participation roles
     • Age Group Manager - Leads their Age Group around the track to their events for the evening (The most enjoyable and rewarding role!)
     • Age Group Manager Assistant - Use a tape measure, rake sand, pick up hurdles, write down results
     • Track Official - Race Starter, Finish Marshal, Time Keeper, Data entry
     • BBQ Helper - 2 shifts each Friday: "Prep and Cook" or "Serve and Pack Up"
   • 
   • Once you have completed the Parent Helper registration, register your children and other parent helpers before completing the checkout.
   • 
   • PLEASE DO NOT CHECKOUT YET - Click on "Register another member" to register your children)
2. Register your Children
   • For Tiger Wests Athletes from last season, please choose "Returning Member" and have your children's National ID number or your login details from last year ready
     • Fees for 2025/26:
       Tiny Tots: $140 (includes Uniform)
       6s and older: $190 (includes Uniform)
       Returning Members from 2024/25: Reduced Fees excludes Uniform
   • Have your Active Kids Vouchers ready if using them
   • For new members, have your Children's Proof of Age ready to upload (you can blur out all details and only show name and date of birth if you like, or upload a blank file and show the registrar in person - any concerns please email registrar@tigerwests.com.au)
   • Ensure you put their correct date of birth as their Age Group is determined by year of birth
3. Register any other Parent Helpers
   • This is so all parents can receive important information and be added to our Whatsapp Announcements Channel
4. Checkout 
   • Little Athletics NSW will process the registration payment and merchant fees will be added - please note the registration fees are usually non-refundable
5. Important Information Email
   • An email will be sent to you with our Season Handbook full of important information about our weekly competition, important dates, contact details, uniforms, safety, instructions and everything else you need to know. 
   • Please check in your junk folder in case it falls in there.
