• Entry to the annual FYC Beach Party including BBQ food, games, treasure hunt, egg toss, ice cream eating competition all included, sure to lots of fun for all.  Siblings and friends of Participants welcome! – entry $10 each.

For graduates of Better Sailing & Tackers 3 who would like to start competitive sailing. The Course focuses on refining enhanced boat handling skills including speed control and manoeuvres. Introducing basic racing tactics and strategies.

Who should do this course?

This course is designed for participants who wish to learn the basics of racing and begin competing at club-level races. 

Course Outcome

You will gain your Start Racing (Dinghy) completion certificate. 

 

We recognise that some of our course participants are completing the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award and may be using sailing and/or club membership to complete one or more sections of The Award. To learn more, click here.
