Tackers Intro is a fun introductory, games-based sailing program designed for kids aged 7-12 years-old. Kids don’t need to have any sailing experience to participate.

Duration of the program: 1 day (Mon).

Time: 9:30 am - 2:30 pm

Participants will have the option to join the Tackers 1 Course for the remainder of the week!

Course Inclusions

• Qualified Australian Sailing instructors. 
• FUN on-water and off-water games.
• Plastic optimist sailing dinghies and PFDs (lifejackets).
• Presentation on the last day.
• Tackers includes a Zhik Tackers Pack including Rashie, drink bottle, bag & hat.

Course Overview
This is the ideal introduction to the Tackers program. Children will enjoy fun, on-water activities that help them become familiar with sailing in a relaxed, non-competitive environment, with a pathway to more sailing through Tackers.

Course Prerequisites

• Water confident
• 7-12 years old (albeit where younger or older siblings or friends want to also participate, please contact your local Centre)

Who should do this course?

This course is designed for participants who wish to be introduced to the sport of sailing. It's an ideal course to determine whether you'd like to participate in a Tackers 1 course.

Course Outcome

You will gain your Tackers Intro completion certificate.
