In conjunction with the Tennant Creek RSL, we are hosting a community run in order to fundraise for the RSL and share some of the values that our veterans had.
This year is the 111th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings, and you could show courage by showing up, resilence by giving the 2.5km track a go. Or you could try your hand at speed, sign up for the sprint and show respect for your mates - whether you're the fastest on track or you let them win.
The 2.5km run will start at 9am from the top of Anzac Hill and involve finishing on the Tennant Creek Primary School Oval.
The sprints will be held at the Tennant Creek Primary School oval from 10am.
Everyone is welcome - under 16s are free, $5 entry for adults (donation to the Tennant Creek RSL).
There will be medals, post-run refreshments and a good morning to be had!
