The City of Monash Family Fun Day is a free community event on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 10 AM to 3 PM at Batesford Reserve, 94 Batesford Road, Chadstone. The event will feature live entertainment, kids' activities, food trucks, craft workshops like the Monash Teddy Bear Hospital, a chalk art workshop, sporting activities, and community stalls.

Waverley Softball Association will be running a softball activity during the day and volunteers are needed to help out. Our club has been allocated 2pm to 3.30pm (with 3 other clubs)  and we need at least 2 volunteers.  Activities include batting, throwing and running.
