Your Parade Fee covers:

• Our fee to Mardi Gras to participate in the parade
• Your own pair of custom designed, limited edition Mardi Gras 2023 Delfina swimwear

Important Stuff:

• Mardi Gras has reduced the number of participants due to high demand with World Pride, so we're restricted to only 1 float of 80 participants across all of the Australian LGBTQ+ inclusive water polo clubs (previous years have had up to 200 participants across 3 Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane floats). We will be saving some space for our sibling club members to participate with us.
• This event is for current members of LGBTQ+ inclusive water polo clubs first. 
  • Tickets will be on sale for $115 for Current Stingers members; then,
  • Tickets will go on sale for $115 for Sister club members (Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth) with a small number held back just in case; then,
  • the remaining tickets will be put on sale to Partners & Friends.
• We have agreed across the clubs that there will be a small number of spots held for each club (at least 8) until release of ticket sales for Partners & Friends. We will be holding back a small amount of the total tickets to ensure we can honour this agreement between the clubs which will be released when tickets go on sale for Partners & Friends.
• There will be a wait list if you miss out on a ticket, although this will not be created until after all tickets are sold out and comms can go out to all clubs with a period of time to prepare to join the wait list.
• You must learn the choreography and attend the required rehearsals. (A Facebook event will be created for rehearsals).
• Tickets are non-transferrable - if you buy a ticket and you're unable to attend, contact Michael Hockey and he'll arrange to pass it on to the next person in line on the wait list. This is to keep it fair for everyone.
• Refunds are only given if we can pass your ticket on to someone else, less any booking fees.
• You must represent the club in a positive manner while you are in the parade or wearing the club outfits.

Swimsuit Sizing:

The swimsuit cuts and sizes are the same as last year, but with an all-new design!

Full Swimmers  - choose from Delfina  Bladeback One-Piece - see pics below.

• Advice from Delfina is that the sizing should be pretty close to your Stingers water polo suits.
• You might want to ask someone who marched last year for advice on fit.
• We will also have a third swimwear option available shortly.
