Weekly Social Basketball

Sydney's only LGBTQIA+ community-run basketball scrimmages. It's casual, social, low-pressure hangout time on the court. Players of all skill levels and all genders are welcome. We play relaxed scrimmages, self-refereed, and adjust the format on the fly depending on numbers and vibe. Numbers are capped to make sure everyone has plenty of court time.

No ongoing commitment. Just come along when you book in.

Location

Green Square Public School, 3 Joynton Ave, Zetland. A short walk from Green Square Station.

On the night

• It's self-refereed, so we rely on everyone calling their own fouls honestly and respectfully. Over-calling or fishing for fouls isn't in the spirit of the game.
• It's all-gender.
• We might tweak the rules here and there on the night to keep things friendly and fair for everyone.

Fees

• Free for members
• $7.50 per session for non-members

Not a member yet? You can join for $65 a year, which gets you access to all Sydney Spectres programs, perks and events.

Weather policy

The court is undercover, but extreme weather can still affect play. If a session is cancelled due to weather, all players will be refunded.
