Advanced Drills & Scrimmage

A high-intensity session for experienced players. This is 30 minutes of advanced drilling followed by 30 minutes of competitive, all-gender scrimmage. This session is not beginner-friendly. To get the most out of it, you should have experience playing in formal competitions at a relatively high level and a strong working knowledge of basketball fundamentals, positioning and game sense.

Gay Games Valencia players: If you're registered for the Gay Games in Valencia, you are encouraged to join regardless of skill level. This is a great opportunity to train together and build chemistry ahead of the tournament. Just be prepared: the drills will still be advanced and the intensity will be high.

How it works

The session runs for one hour: the first half focuses on advanced drills, and the second half is high-level scrimmage.

Who can play All genders are welcome. This session is for advanced players and those going to the gay games.

Location Green Square Public School 3 Joynton Ave, Zetland A short walk from Green Square Station.

Fees

• FREE for members
• $10 per session for non-members

Maximum 14 players per night.

Inclusivity This is a community-run LGBTQIA+ basketball program. All genders and all skill levels are welcome. The focus is on respect, fair play and creating a space where everyone feels safe to participate.

Weather policy The court is undercover, but extreme weather can still affect play. If a session is cancelled due to weather, all players will be refunded.
