We are COVID Safe!

Sutherland Hapkido Club is committed to keeping our students, instructors and members of the public as safe as possible.  In line with the NSW Governments Roadmap for reopening NSW we will be implementing a COVID-19 Safety Plan as we return to classes.  This will include:

  • Please do not attend if you are unwell. Please refer to  Covid-19 Symptom Checker if you have cold or flu-like symtoms.

  • Check-In - Please use the QR Codes available at the entry and check-in all adults and minors participating or spectating prior to attending class.

  • 1 spectator per child permitted and it is preferable for parents/guardians to wait outside, or at their car for the duration of the lesson..

  • Proof of Vaccination Status - In accordance with NSW Government regulations, we currently require all members (age 16 years and over) to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination (or a valid medical exemption) before returning to training.

  • Face Masks - Face masks are required in indoor areas of a premises, although a person may remove their mask while undertaking exercise in a class.  As such, students will be permitted to train without a mask for the duration of the class.  Instructors will be required to wear a mask.

  • Increased Cleaning Measures - We clean and disinfect our equipment and training environment with hospital-grade disinfectant after every class.

  • Provision of Hand Sanitiser - Alcohol-based hand sanitiser is available to all members

  • Social Distancing Measures - Our training venue can safely accommodate up to 20 students on-site .  We require students to train with the same partner for the entirety of the class and to maintain a 1.5-metre distance from other pairs of students.
