Sunshine Coast Players Selected for World Championships and New Zealand Tour

Published Tue 16 Apr 2024

We are thrilled to announce that four of our talented players have been selected to represent Australia in the prestigious Australian U18 Water Polo teams for 2024!

August Korac and Harrison Cole have earned their spots in the Australian Team for the World Aquatics Men’s U18 Water Polo Championships, set to be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 2nd to 9th July 2024. This is a remarkable achievement for both players, and we couldn't be prouder to see them compete on the world stage.

Meanwhile, Harry Colley and Leo Gallagher will be showcasing their skills in the Australian Team for the New Zealand Tour in June. This tour presents an excellent opportunity for them to further develop their game and gain invaluable international experience.

We also extend our congratulations to Coach Duncan Greenbank on his appointment as Assistant Coach for the men’s Youth Worlds Team for 2024. His expertise and guidance will undoubtedly be instrumental in the team's success.

Join us in wishing August, Harrison, Harry, Leo, and Coach Duncan the best of luck as they proudly represent Australia. We have no doubt they will do us proud!
