Attention all aspiring U16 boys water polo players! Sunshine Coast Water Polo Association is excited to announce the upcoming trials for the Queensland State Titles. This is your opportunity to showcase your skills and be part of two formidable teams competing in the Maroon and White divisions.
Date: Sunday, 25 February
Location: Noosa Aquatic Centre
Arrival Time: 1:30 PM
Cost: $15
Schedule:
- 1:30-2:00 PM: Welcome & Address, Land Warm-up
- 2:00-4:00 PM: Pool Session
- 4:15 PM: Debrief and Wrap-up (including selection process and rough idea on training program)
Contents of the Trials:
- Fitness & Skills: 30 minutes
- Assemble Teams: 5 on 5 Water Polo
- Tactical Abilities: 90 minutes (covering Press D, Zone D, and XM Play)
Important Notes:
- If you are not on the trial list but want to be included, please reach out to the SCWP Secretary.
- If you are already on the trial list, please inform us if you are unable to attend the trials.
- The $15 trial fee covers pool entry and hire. Please ensure payment is made prior to Sunday if you haven't already.
- Remember to bring water, sunscreen, and snacks for the day.
