SCHA Board is calling for Umpire and Tech nominations for 2026 U16 Boys and Girls State Championships in September.

Technical Officials and Umpires must be a non-playing official who holds no other role at the tournament.
If you are over 18 years, you must hold a valid Blue Card.

Tournament Details:

U16 Boys: 20-23 September in Townsville
U16 Girls: 20-23 September in Rockhampton

Girls Southern Cross & Boys Coulter Shield - Sunday 2nd August 2026 @ Toowoomba *Umpire Only

Umpire Guidelines

Minimum Accreditation:
Foundation Support Umpire

Minimum Age
15 years of age

The umpire cannot be nominated for any other team official role (i.e. coach, manager or player) and must be available for the
entire duration of the tournament. The umpire can assist with technical duties.

Umpires are required to have a plain fluro yellow shirt or a Grays HQ Umpire Shirt. No club or team branding permitted.

Flights have been booked under SCHA group booking:
Brisbane to Townsville - Sat Sep 19th @ 11:40 (VA0391)
Townsville to Brisbane - Wed Sep 23rd @ 17:20 (VA0394)

Travel:
A hire car has been booked for Team Officials for their usage while in Townsville.

Travel to and from Brisbane Airport is to be self organised and is not covered under the officials allowance.

Accomodation:
The Edge Apartments.

Travel
An allowance for the cost of travel to and from the championships will be covered.
