Player nominations are open for the 2026 Masters Men (34+, 44+, 54+) State Championships in Cairns.

Players born in 1992 or before are encouraged to nominate. (Ages are based on the age you are turning by 31 December 2026.)
After a successfuL 2025 Championship, SCHA are looking to field a team in each age group.

Important Dates

State Championship:
1st - 4th May 2026 - Hockey Queensland State Championships (Cairns)

Attendance at these championships provides the opportunity to nominate and trial for Queensland 34+, 39+, 44+, 49+, 54+ and 59+ teams attending the 2026 Australian Men's Masters Championships in Newcastle (September/November 2026).

Accomodation & Travel Details:

All travel and accomodation is to be self organised or organised within your team.

Player Eligibility:
Attendance at these Championships requires a minimum 2026 membership as follows:
Registered with SCHA via your club or Monday Masters
Or Registered with HQ Mens Masters
Or Registered with an equivalent Association in Qld

Nominations:
To help assist with team organisation, timely registrations are encouraged. This will allow for communication with a partner association, if required to fill teams. 

All teams will be in the official SCHA Rep Uniform. Please Include this as part of your playing submission.
