ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY

1. The regatta is open to all dinghies 4.6m and under,
2. Entries in a class which does not meet the requirements in point 10 below will be transferred to the “O Class”.
3. Entrants in this event shall have birth dates not earlier than 31 December 2003, or as specified by class rules for classes with other age limits.
4. For Dabchick sailors, the Dabchick Constitution states, “Membership expires on the day on which the member has their 19th birthday, or on the last day of a regatta of which the official starting date is before, and ends on or after, the day of their 19th birthday”.

6. To be considered an entry in the event, a boat shall complete all registration requirements and pay all fees.
7. Entries close at midnight on 30th November 2022. Late entries will be accepted until 11:00 on 16th December 2022.
8. All competitors shall be members in good standing of the relevant National Class Association and of SA Sailing, and of a yacht club affiliated to and in good standing with SA Sailing (or their equivalent in the case of non-South Africans), and legally permitted to compete. Proof of such membership shall be presented at registration.

SCHEDULE

Registration, Equipment Inspection and Event Measurement:

Friday 16^th December from 09h00 to 17h00

Saturday 17^th December from 07:00 to 9:00

Dates of racing: Saturday 17^th December to Wednesday 21^st December.

The scheduled time of the warning signal for the first race on Saturday 17^th 9:55.

Sunday 18th to Wednesday 21^st – Start of first race for each day will be posted on the notice board by 19h00 the day before.
