Ally wins a Second Race for the Season

Just like life, Cross Country running can be difficult, challenging, painful and sometimes a bit overwhelming. Despite these challenges, some people find something wonderful from these experiences that changes the way they see themselves. Ally Marr is one of these people.

Aggregate points

Peter Gibson is in the lead with John Peacock and Jack Trounson equal second.

Blizzard returns to the winners podium.

The week of the winter solstice delivered the appropriate cold and wet conditions for the Stawell and Ararat Cross Country Club’s (SACCC) first of four championship races and the Blizzard Family 10km Handicap race. In contrast to the unmotivating conditions, it was with childlike happiness that Sue Blizzard crossed the finish line in celebration of her time that would earn her the win for the 10km Handicap event.

Trounson wins the G & R Rice 6.5km Handicap.

On Saturday, the Stawell and Ararat Cross Country Club (SACCC) joined the Stawell Amatuer Athletics Club (SAAC) for the second time this season to combine forces in the G & R Rice 6.5km Handicap at ConConGella Winery, in Stawell.
