2026 YSVL Trials – Sydney South West Volleyball

U17 & U19 Boys and Girls Trials Now Open

Sydney South West Volleyball is excited to announce our 2026 YSVL Trial Dates for all U17 and U19 athletes. We are looking for motivated, disciplined, and coachable players who are ready to represent SSWV in the 2026 Youth Sydney Volleyball League season.

Whether you’re returning or joining us for the first time, our trials are designed to identify athletes who show potential, teamwork, and commitment.
All players must complete the Expression of Interest (EOI) form prior to attending.

Age Categories

• U17 (16 & Under) – Athletes born in 2009 or later

• U19 (18 & Under) – Athletes born in 2007 or later

BOYS TRIALS – Cecil Hills High School

Friday, 12th December – Trial #1

• U17B1/2: 5:30pm – 7:30pm

• U19B1/2: 7:30pm – 9:30pm

Friday, 19th December – Trial #2

• U17B1/2: 5:30pm – 7:30pm

• U19B1/2: 7:30pm – 9:30pm

GIRLS TRIALS – Bonnyrigg High School

Saturday, 13th December – Trial #1

• U17G1/2: 5:00pm – 7:00pm

• U19G1/2: 7:00pm – 9:00pm

GIRLS TRIAL – Fairfield Leisure Centre

Friday, 20th December - Trial #2

• U17G1/2: 11:00am – 1:00pm

• U19G1/2: 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Costs: $16

What We’re Looking For

Our trial assessments focus on:

• Technical skill and fundamentals

• Game IQ and decision-making

• Teamwork and communication

• Attitude, effort, and coachability

• Potential for long-term development

Experience is helpful but not essential. We welcome athletes from all backgrounds and levels who are eager to learn and grow.
