Sydney Emeralds will be holding competitive team tryout for a new season in February 2022. We invite all interested swimmers with minimum Star 2 skills to register.
Swimmers, who join the competitive program, will have a practice minimum 2 days per week and will be part of amazing team experience and journey to compete at NSW States Championships or at Nationals.
Age Categories:
Age categories are based on the swimmer’s age as of December 31st, 2022
- 12& Under - For swimmers born in 2010 - younger
- 13-15 - For swimmers born in 2009, 2008 or 2007
WHEN and WHERE
Competitive team tryout is running:
- Wednesday - 5.30 - 8:00pm, Cook and Phillip pool
- Saturday – 12.00 - 3.00pm, Victoria Park pool
- Interested swimmers can try for following 3 weeks ( Wednesday & Saturday) to see if they would like to continue in competitive program (attend as many classes as you can).
PAYMENT
$290 at the beginning of the term, after joining competitive stream you will pay a difference. Fees do not include ASAI membership of $60, nor pool entry at Cook and Philip for swimmers or spectators.
IMPORTANT:
RENEW your ASAI Non-Competitive Athlete membership before registering to Tryout. After joining a competitive team, you will be asked to upgrade your membership to Competitive.
