Chair

Matt has a hospitality, sales & operations background predominantly within the liquor industry.  Matt is currently the Sales & Operations Manager for Metcash Food & Grocery.

Matt started playing squash as a junior in Port Lincoln before re-engaging with the sport after a move to Adelaide in 2012.

Scott Meek

Director

Scott has a background in Architecture, Project Management and facilities infrastructure. Currently one of the founding partners of SMFA an awarding winning multidisciplinary practice based in South Australia.

Scott has been a passionate squash player for over two decades

Amy Challans

Director

Amy has a background in Law and Industrial Relations. Amy is a Past President and Director of Australian Women Lawyers, and is a member of the Women Lawyers Association of SA and the Law Society of South Australia Women Lawyers Committee. Amy has worked for a number of key Agencies in Australia and the United Kingdom and has a Bachelor Arts from The Flinders University of South Australia, a Bachelor Laws from the University of Adelaide and was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia as a Barrister and solicitor.  Amy also has a love for sport.

Anna Cope

Director

Anna’s background is within the Marketing, Events and Sponsorship sector with her career spanning across the Telecommunications, Entertainment and Liquor Industries. Most recently Anna is enjoying being a sole trader and assisting varied businesses on a project or contract basis.

Anna is an avid sports fan, either as a spectator or participating, and a is proud Player Life Member at Contax Netball Club.

Matt Naisby

Director

Matt works for Santos Limited as a Financial Controller Corporate Planning & Analysis.  The role is primarily accountable for coordinating the Santos obligations relating to management and external financial statutory reporting, ASX financial reporting and forecasting / budgeting.

  • Providing key stakeholders with analysis, insight and commentary in relation to business performance, including performance against targets and trends, key business drivers and performance metrics
  • Implementing and delivering on cost reduction efficiencies and value creation strategies where relevant as well as contributing to half-year and year-end reporting requirements to Group Finance

Matt is also a keen squash player, and plays in the Squash SA pennant competition.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Joel Perricone

Director

Originally from the Fitness Industry and holding Postgraduate qualifications in Business (Sport Management) From Deakin University, Joel has transferred his skills to the aquatic and recreation industry. Joel’s expertise lies with regulatory reform and physical activity activation. 

Having spent over a decade with Fitness Australia as their National Manager of Advocacy and Industry Standards, Joel completed a brief stint at the World Health Organisation helping engage people in Physical Activity through the Global Action Plan on Physical Activity. 

Based in Adelaide, Joel joined BlueFit as their State Manager in 2019 and has had a positive impact on the community of Playford through the operation of the Aquadome. Joel also uses his Fitness industry expertise by actively supporting the operations of BlueFit Health Clubs nationally. 

Joel brings operational standards, quality improvement nous and business excellence into the operation of BlueFit facilities in South Australia. His keen advocacy skills allow BlueFit partners confidence that community engagement of considered groups such as people with disabilities, children, older adults and women are at the forefront of our ethos.   

In 2021 Joel has been instrumental in the project management of a $2.5m upgrade of the Playford Aquadome not only ensuring a project is delivered with the utmost quality but also ensuring that the community of Playford have access to a substantial water safety and physical activity asset for generations to come. Having rounded experience in physical activity activation and facility management, Joel is passionate about supporting BlueFit partners ‘on the ground’ in South Australia and Nationally.

Lauren Aspinall

Director

Lauren is a speech pathologist who works with clients and their families with multiple, complex and long-term disabilities.

Lauren grew up playing squash at Campbelltown Squash Club alongside her family and progressed to representing South Australia and Australia at national and international events, including the Commonwealth Youth Games. Currently, Lauren is a volunteer at Campbelltown Squash Club and engages in the SquashSA racquetball pennant competition. 

Alison Skinner

Director

Alison works in the natural resources management sector, for a statutory organisation that works with landholders and community to look after land, water and nature.

She leads a team responsible for strategic planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting, and has experience in contract management and developing funding proposals.

Alison is also a keen squash player and plays in the Adelaide pennant competition.
