Australian Spirits Hockey (ASH) is calling for player nominations for the following events:

45+ & 50+ Women's IMC teams for Valencia, Spain - competition dates 23 May to 1 June 2025 

55+, 60+, 65+ & 70+ Women's IMC teams for Nottingham, UK - competition dates 8 to 17 August 2025

The non-refundable fee payable upon team nomination is $22.  A refund will be made in the exception that there are insufficient nominations to form a team in or close to your age group.

Nominations will close on Monday 25 November 2024.  As there is no opportunity for player trials, the nomination form is a little more detailed than usual and you are encouraged to take your time to provide the information requested.  ASH will appoint experienced selectors to create teams from player data provided by the nominee; reference to AltiusRT system used by Hockey Australia and World Masters Hockey; and including contacting any referees or past state team coaches regarding player ability. 

Teams will be selected and off field team appointments announced by Monday 9 December 2024.  $500 non-refundable tour levy will be payable by 10 February 2025. This levy will include: ASH admin fee, travel admin fee, contribution to WMH team entry fee, honorariums (coach/manager/medical), sundry expenditure - training, manager kitty, etc.

A $250 acceptance fee will be due and payable via revsport by Monday 16 December 2024.  The balance of $250 Tour levy will be due via revsport by Monday 10 February 2025.

Players who are selected in Australian teams for 2025 Trans Tasman Challenge and choose to withdraw will receive a full refund.  Please note, in accordance with WMH eligibility policy, the selectors may include 2 current Australian players in each ASH team.  Requests for refund must be made via info@australianspiritshockey.org.au within 10 days of the Australian teams announcement. 

Tour dates & accommodation
Tour dates will include arrival 2 days before the event and departure 1 day after the event (13 days total).  Accommodation will be offered via our travel agent, Travelcall at the player's expense.   Players are welcome to travel and share accommodation with supporters.  

Comprehensive travel insurance
It is a condition of travel with ASH that all players and supporters provide evidence of comprehensive travel insurance to safeguard any necessary cancellation of bookings, medical or injury expenses, flight changes, etc.

Australian Spirits Uniforms
Mandatory items will be playing shirt, skort/shorts, socks and alternate strip (2 full sets), walkout shirt, tracksuit pants and top - estimated cost $400.  Other optional items and accessories will be offered.
