Here is a perfect opportunity to get your Licence, and have a bit of tuition to help you.
Somerton is holding this course in conjunction with the Department of Transport and they will be conducting the TEST to ensure you reach the official standard required. Somerton YC will provide an instructor on the first night to walk you through the handbook and then the Dept of Rego will give another presentation and take the test the following week. You MUST pass the test to receive your Licence. You will need to study and read the handbook to ensure you pass on the night the following week.
On the night of the TEST you MUST bring Proof of ID (eg Drivers Licence). Kids older than 12 and less than 16 can also sit the test so long as their parent/guardian shows proof of id (birth Certificate) and signs a form – they will be required to do a practical within the following 6 months.
