Thank you for registering for Brisbane Scooter Club's first official event with Skate Queensland to be held at The Village Indoor Skatepark at Coopers Plains in Brisbane.

This event is sanctioned by Skate Queensland Association Inc and will be run using the 2025 World Skate Scootering Handbook which can be found on the World Skate Website.

As detailed in the World Skate Regulations all riders must wear a protective helmet during warm up and competition runs that meets the below requirements:

● Cranial coverage and security are guaranteed by a one-piece hard shell that cradles the occipital
● Hard or soft internal padding that guarantees impact absorption
● A chin strap with buckle lock

All riders must ride a park style scooter that consists of:

● Deck
● Handlebars
● Two wheels (no greater than 135mm in size)

Toy scooters, dirt scooters and scooters with foldable mechanisms, more than 2 wheels, or non-rotating headsets are not permitted.

Categories for this competition are age based, based on your age on the day of competiton:

• 7 & Under
• 10 & Under
• 13 & Under
• 15 & Under
• 17 & Under
• Open Mens
• Open Womens

All riders must be a current financial member of Skate Queensland to compete. 

Skate Queensland membership registration must be completed and paid prior to nominating in the event, this is for insurance purposes. 

• Riders competing in the categories of Under 15, Under 17 and Open should join as 2025 Scootering Competitive Members (select Unattached as your club.)
• Riders competing in the categories of Under 7, Under 10 and Under 13 should join as 2025 Scootering Participation Members (select Unattached as your club.)

There will be an event nomination fee of $20 per person to participate in this event.

Please familiarise yourself with Skate Queensland and Skate Australia's policies with regards to Sport Integrity and Child Safe Sport prior to the event.
