The compulsory units of the Level 1 Coaching Principles are integrated into the Skate Australia Level 1 Roller Derby Coaching Course as well as utilising the ASC Online General Principles Course.

This course is designed to provide training for coaches involved in roller derby at the beginner and intermediate level. The course is intended for:

Participants in this course are required to show that they are competent in utilising coaching techniques suitable to the sport of roller derby. Additionally, the written communication will ask that they provide written description of any injuries or medical conditions that may affect their active participation in any way.

Candidates must attend all sessions of the course component of the training program in order to be eligible for accreditation.
All participants are required to first complete a free online Community Coaching General Principles course.
