The World Skate Oceania Artistic Skating Seminar for Judges, Technical Specialists, Skaters, and Coaches.
The seminar will be held at the South Pine Sports Centre, situated in Brendale, Queensland, Australia. The seminar is co-organised with Skate Australia.
The official language of the seminar is English.
The organisers hope this seminar can assist all artistic skating participants to work together to improve the sport, so all sessions are open to everyone.
Oceania Arrtistic Seminar: The Oceania Artistic Seminar will be conducted as a sit-down event led by Nicola Genchi and Seona Martin, members of the World Skate Artistic Technical Commission, in collaboration with guest international coaches. The seminar is designed primarily for coaches and officials, while remainig open to all interested participants. Program contenet will address the 2026 rule updates and provide detailed sessions for coaches and judges in the disciplines of Free Skating, Dance, Precision, Show and Quartet. The seminar package includes full access to all seminar classes, a promotional pack, and catering (morning tean and lunch) provided across the three days.
National Camps: Open to all competitive skaters in Australia & from abroad skating in State (including novice/elementary & secondary leagues), National grades (Promotional, Primary, Juvenile, Preliminary, Intermediate, Advanced & all Masters categories), World Skate Tots and Mini’s or equivalent for federations outside of Australia.
World Skate International Camp: Open to all competitive skaters in Australia & from abroad skating in World Skate grades Espoir, Cadet, Youth, Junior & Senior. Special consideration will be granted to Minis of high standard & Advanced National grades of high standard or equivalent for federations outside of Australia (on discretion of the Oceania Artistic Technical Committee in consultation with the athlete’s coach). The Skate Camps will feature a balanced program of both on-skate and off-skate classes, designed to complement and extend the development of participating skaters. Sessions will focus on technical skills, performance & choreography, and overall athletic preparation, ensuring a holistic training experience.
