🎯 GRADING & DIVISIONS

Grade A: Equivalent to Division C in a badminton tournament Grade B: Equivalent to Division D in a tournament Grade C: Recreational players with limited comp experience; know the basics; here for fun and skill-building
📝 Note: Players may be moved between grades to balance teams or match skill levels. Each grade will be capped at 12 players.
🧠 HOW IT WORKS
Each division has 4 teams. Each team plays the others once in this 3-on-3 format:
1 & 2 vs 1 & 2
2 & 3 vs 2 & 3
1 & 3 vs 1 & 3
Each player will play six (6) x 21-point games across the night.
First to 21 points per game
20 minutes max per match (includes warm-up and turnover)
Event runs for approx. 2 hours
Match schedules will be emailed 1–2 days prior to the event.
🤝 HOW TEAMS ARE FORMED
Teams will be drawn randomly (raffle style) once all registrations are in. If grades are uneven, some players may be asked to move up or down a grade. The committee will make fair calls—we ask that all players respect their decisions.
