WHO IS IT FOR?

Whether you're a complete beginner, returning player, or someone who plays socially or competitively, you're welcome here.

Shuttle Swingers is all about increasing women's participation in badminton while having fun along the way. Many of our players come from other sports like tennis, squash, or even soccer, and find badminton a great crossover sport.

We are a women’s LGBTQ+ inclusive club. Whether you're LGBTQ+, straight, or an ally, all women are welcome in our community.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE

When you arrive, please check in with a Shuttle Swingers host.

Let us know a little about your playing experience or comfort level. We’ll help rotate players so you get to play with a mix of people and skill levels, while keeping games fun and comfortable for everyone.

I DON'T KNOW THE RULES

No problem at all! Many players are learning when they first join. Our hosts and players are happy to help you learn the rules and basics as you go.

WHAT TO WEAR / BRING

Please wear comfortable sporting clothes.

Indoor or badminton shoes are preferred, but regular sports trainers are usually fine for beginners.

Don’t forget to bring water — badminton can be surprisingly intense!
