We will be hiking 8 km with 300 m of elevation at Werribee Gorge via Shelter Shed and Short Circuit Track. The track is a Grade 3 track (according to Parks Victoria), which means it has moderate level difficulty, with some rope sections and rock scrambling. Attendees should have an average fitness level and proper footwear (e.g. hiking shoes) for hiking will be needed. (We might change the track to a different one depending on weather and park closure.)

We'll meet first in Werribee Gorge Meikles Point Picnic Area. For those who do not have a car we might be able to connect you to participants who can take you. You are also welcome to arrange your own.

We'll start hiking and may have lunch in the middle of the track or at the end, depending on how we progress. It will take approximately 2.5 hours on average to complete this track. But we may go slow depending on the participants. 

Bring your lunch, hiking snacks, weather gear/sun protection according to the weather forecaset, good shoes, and plenty of water. Consider first aid kit as well.

Note: As this is an outdoors event, the quality of the experience may be dependent on the weather. In the event that the weather is deemed to be potentially dangerous (e.g. rain, thunderstorm), at 8 am on the day of the hike, we'll send everyone an email to your registered email address to advise the cancellation. 

We'll also ask you to sign a waiver form a few days before you can join us in the hiking event.
