🏃 Shepparton Athletics Club Now an Official Victorian Masters Athletics Venue!

We’re excited to announce that Shepparton Athletics Club is now an official Victorian Masters Athletics (VMA) venue! 💙🖤

This is a fantastic step forward for athletics in the Goulburn Valley, creating more opportunities for athletes aged 30+ to participate, train and compete locally while also connecting with the wider Victorian Masters Athletics community.

Victorian Masters Athletics provides opportunities for adults of all abilities to stay active, challenge themselves and enjoy the social and competitive sides of athletics. You don’t need to be an elite athlete or have previous athletics experience to get involved.

🏅 Masters Athletics in Shepparton

As an official VMA venue, Masters athletes can now enjoy the benefits of the Victorian Masters community while training and competing locally at Shepparton.

At Shepparton Athletics Club we offer:

🏃 Training – Tuesday evenings
🏆 Club competition – Friday evenings
📅 Summer competition season – October to March
🏟️ Synthetic athletics track with access to a wide range of running, jumping and throwing events.

Whether you’re returning to athletics after many years, looking for a new challenge, wanting to improve your fitness or already competing at Masters level, there is a place for you at Shepparton Athletics Club.

One of the great things about Masters Athletics is that you can choose how far you want to take it.

Competition opportunities for Masters athletes include:

• Shepparton Athletics Club Friday night competitions
• Victorian Masters Athletics competitions and State Championships
• Various Masters competitions, carnivals and events held across Victoria
• Australian Masters Athletics National Championships
• Oceania Masters Athletics Championships
• International and World Masters Athletics Championships

For some athletes, Masters Athletics is about keeping fit, having fun and enjoying Friday night competition with friends. For others, it can provide a pathway to State, National, Oceania and international competition.

Whatever your goal, Masters Athletics gives you the opportunity to set your own challenges, chase a PB and enjoy being part of an athletics community.

Want to give athletics a try? Join us for our 2026/27 Season Launch & Come and Try on Friday 16 October from 6pm at the Shepparton Athletics Track. Come along, meet the club and have a go at running, jumping and throwing.
