Shepparton Athletics Club Championships

Proudly Sponsored by GV Orthodontics

The Shepparton Athletics Club Championships are a feature of our Track & Field season, giving members the opportunity to compete for the title of Shepparton Athletics Club Champion in their age group.

The Championships will be conducted across three competition rounds – A, B & C –toward the back of the season, with points accumulated across the three weeks.

It’s not just about winning one event — consistency, participation and performance across the Championship rounds all count!

🏅 Championship Age Groups

Male and Female Championships will be conducted in the following age groups:

U14 • U16 • U18 • U20 • Open • 30–39 • 40–49 • 50–59 • 60–69

Athletes must compete within their allocated age group.

How the Championship Works

Points are awarded based on finishing position in each event:

1st – 7 points | 2nd – 6 | 3rd – 5 | 4th – 4 | 5th – 3 | 6th – 2 | 7th – 1 point

All subsequent eligible finishers will also receive 1 participation point.

Points from each event an athlete competes in are accumulated across the three Championship rounds. The eligible athlete with the highest points total in each age group will be crowned the Shepparton Athletics Club Champion.

Visiting athletes and non-members are welcome to compete where permitted; however, their results will not affect the allocation of Club Championship points.

🥇 First-place medals will be awarded to the Male and Female Club Champion in each age group and presented at the Club AGM & Presentation Night.
