Competitive Tournament Regulations Players

By participating in any of these tournaments or competitions entered by South Gippsland Volleyball Club Inc. (SGVCI) Players hereby abide to the following:

Hold a valid:

• Volleyball Victoria Inc. (VVI) Membership

• South Gippsland Volleyball Club Inc. Membership

• Working with Children Check or equivalent (if over 18)

• Level 1 Referee Accreditation (at mimium) (refundable by SGVCl)

  Adheres to:

• South Gippsland Volleyball Club Inc.’s Code of Conduct

• South Gippsland Volleyball Club Inc.’s Child Safe Policy

• rules / regulations released by the tournament body

• additional policies released by Volleyball Victoria Inc.

• the Official South Gippsland Volleyball Club Inc. playing uniform:

                    South Gippsland Numbered Playing Top (provided by SGVCI or available for purchase)

                    Shorts – Joust Navy Racer or Joust Navy Pro 4”  

                    Plain White Crew Cut Socks (no logos / stripes)

Agrees to:

• registers for the tournament / competition via the appropriate form by

  the given deadline

• add the tournament / competition to their calendar

• notify the appropriate contact person/s if they become unavailable to

  participate in the tournament / competition and update their

  preferences on the form

• pay fees in full by the due date set by the committee (unless discussed

  with the treasurer)

• sign all documents of compliance

• attend at minimum 50% of the training sessions scheduled for the

  month and understands if they don’t make the minimum trainings that

  their position in the team may be put under review

• the committee’s team selection; if the player doesn’t agree with the

  team that has been selected, they will inform the committee in writing

  of their issues (within 2 weeks of the team/s been released)

• behave in a respectable manner when attired in any SGVCI branded

  clothing

• behave in a respectable manner when representing SGVCI

By participating in any of these tournaments or competitions entered by South Gippsland Volleyball Club Inc. (SGVCI) Coaches hereby abide to the following:

Hold a valid:

• Volleyball Victoria Inc. (VVI) Membership (in SGVCI database)

• Working with Children Check or equivalent (if over 18)

• Level 1 Coaching Accreditation (at minimum) (refundable by SGVCl)

  Adheres to:

• South Gippsland Volleyball Club Inc.’s Code of Conduct

• South Gippsland Volleyball Club Inc.’s Child Safe Policy

• rules / regulations released by the tournament body

• additional policies released by Volleyball Victoria Inc.

• be attired in SGVCI branded clothing or clean appropriate clothing

  Agrees to:

• registers for the tournament / competition via the appropriate form by

  the given deadline

• add the tournament / competition to their calendar

• notify the appropriate contact person/s if they become unavailable to

  participate in the tournament / competition and update their

  preferences on the form

• sign all documents of compliance

  understands if they don’t make the minimum trainings that their
