The Sappire Coast Runners are continuing the 2026 Trail Series with our third event in the series in Tathra on the 28th of June.
We're spoilt for choice when it comes to great trails, which are often hidden gems, here on the Far South Coast. So come along and join the fun by walking, jogging or running your way through some of the wonderful coastal bushland this region has to offer.
As mentioned previously, the series is conducted over four trail events, with the third event commencing at 8am sharp at the entrance to White Rocks Rd, Tathra (see Map).
For event 3, participants will choose to complete the approximately 6km or 12km course. Both courses are out and back, following the well graded fire trails to the relevant turn around point. Courses will be well signposted with our distinct SCR signage.
There are no mandatory gear requirements for the event. However, you are encouraged to bring a water bottle, a mobile phone, compression bandage, personal, medications, snack or anything else you feel you might need for your distance.
The event will have a timekeeper and the results will be recorded. Saying this however, a strong emphasis will be on participation. So, whether you want to walk or run over the shorter or the longer distance, the aim will be to get as many participants as possible to join in the experience of running or walking on some of our awesome local trails.
The aim is to get everyone at the start by 7.45am for check-in, bib collection and safety brief.
There is parking along the side of the Tathra Road, opposite the entrance to White Rock Rd.
There are NO toilet facilities at this location. Please factor this in before arriving to check in. The nearest public toilet is 2km or 2min away at Evans Park, Kalaru.

This event will be the third event in the Quad Crown Competition - Members who compete in all four of the trail events held throughout the year will be eligible for a prize awarded at the end of the year 🤩👏🎉🎁
