***SCR MEMBERS ONLY EVENT***

The SCR are continuing the 2026 Trail Series with our second event in the series on the 3rd of May in Eden.

We're spoilt for choice when it comes to great trails, which are often hidden gems, here on the Far South Coast. Come and join us for a walk, jog or run through some of the wonderful coastal bushland this region has to offer.

As mentioned previously, the series is conducted over four trail events, with the second event commencing at 8am sharp opposite the Eden Gateway Holiday Park (near Public Toilet) on the Princes Hwy, Eden (see Map).

For event 2, participants will choose to complete the approximately 6km, 12km or 21km course. All courses are out and back courses, following tracks, trails and well graded fire trails to the relevant turn around points. All courses will be well signposted with our distinct SCR signage.

For the 21km Half Marathon course participants are required to carry, but are not limited to, the following mandatory gear - Mobile phone (fully charged), whistle, thermal blanket or bag, compression bandage, 1 L water (min) and 1 food portion (min).

There are no mandatory gear requirements for the the 6km and 12km courses. However, all participants are encouraged to bring a water bottle, a mobile phone, compression bandage, personal medications, snack or anything else you feel you might need.

The event will have a timekeeper and the results will be recorded. Saying this however, a strong emphasis will be on participation. So whether you want to walk or run over the shorter or the longer distance, we want to get as many participants as possible to join in the experience of running or walking on some of our awesome local trails.

The aim is to get everyone at the event and checked in by 7.45am for the safety brief.

There is parking beside the Princes Hwy near the public toilet block.

Furthermore, this is the second event in the Quad Crown Competition - Members who compete or volunteer in all four of the trail events held throughout the year will be eligible for a prize awarded at the end of the year 🤩👏🎉🎁
